The recurring events in this list are run by sports unions, a ministry and a federation serving one community, not by clubs. The Crown Prince championship brings university teams together: its first edition was held on the Amman Arab University campus in 2023 with fourteen universities, and its newest table on the tournament server, updated in May 2026, lists nineteen teams. The universities’ sports union also stages a rapid team championship, held in May 2025 at Middle East University and in December 2025 at Isra University.
The Ministry of Education includes chess in its Olympic Days, with separate events for school age groups, among them a blitz event for secondary-school girls in February 2025. The Jordanian Deaf Federation holds a rapid championship in Amman; the page of its 2026 edition gives the date 13 December 2026, and a women’s event of the same series is dated 13 February 2026. Club and federation tournaments, such as the Ramadan blitz, are described on the entries of the bodies that organise them.
