Amman Chess

Add a club or academy

Use this form for a club, an academy, a recurring championship or a place to play in Amman or a nearby town that the register does not list yet, or for a line in an entry that is wrong.

A link does most of the work: a club post, a federation notice, a tournament entry. Messages are read together at the next revision and compared with that page, and every change that follows is dated in the register history.

What are you writing about?
For a new entry: what is played or taught there, and when. For a mistake: the line that is wrong.
The address of a web page, a chess-results.com tournament entry or a public post where it can be seen.
So we know who is writing; your name never appears on the site.
A phone number or a WhatsApp or Telegram handle, if you prefer it to email.

Leave at least one way to reach you. It stays private and is used only if you want a reply.

How your message is handled is set out in the privacy notice.

What happens next

  • Your message waits with the others until the next revision.
  • It is then compared with the club’s, academy’s or organiser’s own pages; if they confirm it, the entry changes and the change is dated.
  • Without a page to support it, the entry stays as it is and keeps its “not confirmed” line.
  • A reply comes only when you ask for one and leave a contact.
